The Schlitzer Lab is looking for a highly motivated postdoc investigating mononuclear phagocytes' development and functional specialization during acute and chronic inflammation in the murine epididymis using state-of-the-art single-cell technologies. Starting at the earliest date possible for 3 years initially, this position will be integrated into the newly established DFG-funded research Unit INFINITE on epididymal Immunology, the Cluster of Excellence Immunosensation2, and the PRECISE platform of the University of Bonn, and the German Center for Neurodegenerative, diseases.

https://bit.ly/2RXDH0M) integrates spatial single-cell OMICS, high-dimensional imaging, and flow cytometry to unravel novel mechanisms and regulatory circuits during the functional specialization and development of mononuclear phagocytes.

Your profile:
- PhD degree in biomedical sciences, biology, bioinformatics, or a similar subject
- Strong background in immunology
- Strong background in Imaging or Spatial transcriptomics technologies
- Knowledge of flow cytometry
- Knowledge of the programming language R or Phyton
- excellent command of the English language
- motivated, flexible, team oriented and interested in continued professional development.
